Now, at GOOGLE, immediately after conducting a search, you can see live updates from people on popular sites like Twitter and FriendFeed, as well as headlines from news and blog posts published just seconds before

Click on “Latest results” or select “Latest” from the search options menu to view a full page of live tweets, blogs, news and other web content scrolling right on Google. You can also filter your results to see only “Updates” from micro-blogs like Twitter, FriendFeed, Jaiku and others. Latest results and the new search options are also designed for iPhone and Android devices when you need them on the go, be it a quick glance at changing information like ski conditions or opening night chatter about a new movie — right when you’re in line to buy tickets.

And, as part of the launch of real-time on Google search, GOOGLE added “hot topics” to Google Trends to show the most common topics people are publishing to the web in real-time. With this improvement and a series of other interface enhancements, Google Trends is graduating from Labs.

According to NetworkWorldAsia’s tests, Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) after installed the Google’s new Chrome Frame plug-in was nearly 10 times faster than just IE8 on its own.

The Chrome Frame lets IE utilize the Chrome browser’s WebKit rendering engine, as well as its high-performance V8 Javascript engine.

We are impressed by the results but we have not tested with IE8. We have downloaded the Google Chrome plug-in and tested with our IE7s.

We found that the performance in IE7 accessing most of the web sites including the loading time, refreshing response are really faster than IE7 on its own. For the web sites with some javascript programs, the performance is notably faster, it is around 3-5 times better.

Bing is a search engine to replace its current Live Search product. Microsoft hopes it will provide users with a more streamlined, focused approach to search. Bing is set to launch on June 3.

On 1 April, Google Australia has announced a NEW feature called gDay. The core technology that powers the gDay is MATE (Machine Automated Temporal Extrapolation).

It claimed that it used the MATE machine learning and AI techniques which we can search the web pages of the “future”. It use the technique to predict almost anything on the web.

It is really unbelievable and fantastic technology. To rank the future pages in order of relevance, gDay use future PageRank called SageRank.

Can you imagine that we may search the soccer result or racing result one day in advance ? It’s really amazing !
